That Bad Eartha

"This CD contains Eartha's early-80s disco hits, produced by Jacques "Village People" Morali. Not everyone was of the "disco sucks" mentality at the time, as this was extremely popular and gave Eartha her first UK hit singles in years. Great production and great vocals all round. Some twenty-five years after recording it, the purring Ms. Kitt remains an old fashioned girl yearning for an old fashioned millionaire, but without much success. On "La Grande Vie", for example, she demands champagne, truffles and caviare from her lover, but gets only fish sticks, beer and pickles in a jar. This CD is hilarious, and is very much a comedy set to music."

"Original I Love Men album plus two tracks. Where's my man is a classic. Others make hilarious and happy athmosphere. Nothing to compare to her devilishly seductive 50's recordings, but a happy record with lots of bitchy laughter. This could have been made by Alexis Carrington-Colby-whoever if she could sing. The shameless eighties!"
