Classical CD nut | NY, USA | 11/06/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "I have many recordings of Rach 3, and I don't think any has ever kept me on the edge of my seat the way this one has. There are other exciting live recordings out there, but Wild somehow manages to be incredibly exciting and remain perfectly under control too! The orchestral support is very good throughout the disc, and the recorded sound is fine too. It sounds about as good as studio performances. The Weber and Liszt concert pieces are among my favorites, and Wild's playing is just as scintillating in those. An amazing discovery. I just wonder what other unknown Earl Wild concerts Ivory classics has in its vaults."
