CD Reviews

Wore the vinyl out
Robert Bixby | Greensboro, NC USA | 06/19/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is not merely an icon of the popular music scene in the middle 70s, it is a vault of great performances, great lyrics, great songs you will not hear again, from performers you will never find on the same disk again. I recorded it to cassette off a friend's lp and wore that puppy out totally playing it over and over, learned almost all the songs by heart, loved every one. I'm getting this CD because I know I will play it endlessly and smile every minute it's in the player."
Great bluegrass!

"I owned volume I MANY years ago, and always loved it (vinyl, those were the days!). I couldn't locate a CD version for many years, so was thrilled to see this volume 1/2 offered for a great price!

Excellent memories!"
