"Eagle Twin's "The Unkindness of Crows" is wonderful, amazing, and it makes me happy to listen to it. Not to say that it is easy listening to space out to. On the contrary, this is music to be thought about, reconciled with and percolated. Om is to Apollo what Eagle Twiin is to Dionysis. A friend of mine quipped, "It is like SUNN)))0 mated with Kyuss!" There are great references to William Blake, Ted Hughes, and it demonstrates the perfect blend of anger and melancholy that doom metal should emulate. I think this is a beautiful record, and it will be a record that future musicians of the genre will have to answer to."
