CD Reviews

Never in a million years...

"I can't believe it. Never in a million years did I think that I would be reviewing and recommending an old band I used to listen to in my tween years. But here I am, so what else can I do, right?

I first heard of EYC when I was 11, going on 12. I of course saw them and got my first taste of them at a Backstreet Boys concert, and though I would never admit it to any of my friends nowadays, I still find them amazing...both, not just BSB or EYC. Immediately after that concert my mom rushed to the local department store and got a copy of 'I Feel It'. I think that may have been the first actual CD-CD I ever owned. I also think it was the most played...

I haven't listened to the CD in years. I don't believe I even own it anymore. However, I am getting a new copy. I found myself walking around my kitchen today humming an old song I knew from somewhere, but I couldn't place it. Then I started singing the words, and it hit me. Now, I can't believe that after 4 years of not touching the CD or thinking about the music or the band, I still remember every single word to every single song on this album.

This goes to show you that good music never does die. Nowadays with the age of 'rap' and 'crunk' and 'punk-pop-rock-techno-blah blah blah blah blah' taking over, it's sometimes hard to grasp on where the world was a few short years ago. Listening to the music on this CD brought back memories for me, and in a way I think that's what music should do. Help you reflect when you want to escape back to the world you knew when you were younger, innocent, and more naive.

If anyone out there still owns this CD years and years after it's been released and the band has long since moved on to other things, know that you're not the only one. It's great music, the guys are wonderfully talented, and it's not such a horrible thing to indulge in it once in a while."

""I Feel It" by EYC is the best CD I have listened to! I enjoy it very very much! This cd has something for everybody, it's got the pop, its got the dance, it's got the soul...how could you not love??!! I am part of the EYC Street Team and I've never been more proud of the guys! "I Feel It" is Dave, Damon, and Trey's latest accomplishment, and I hope people enjoy the cd as much as I do. EYC 'YA"

"I love the movie Newsies, (which the lovey Trey Parker was in!) so when I heard that Trey had a group, I just had to go check it out!!! I just bought their new cd today and I love!!! My favorite song is Only A Dream, even though I hven't even finished listening to the cd yet!! All three of the guys are very talented! I NEVER go crazy for all the popular boy bands, but EYC is an exception!!! They are better than Backstreet Boys and N Synce anyday!!! Everyone should go out and buy this fantastic cd!!!!"
