Awesomely Strange

"I don't quite get the Title for this compilation, obviously the band members didn't have anything to do with it, but nonetheless it's AWESOME if you like the dance remixes and extended versions. After picking up Essential Duran Duran Night Versions I was pleased to find that several of the early hits were different on this compilation. Better yet, a few of the later hit variations are different than the track list on the Singles boxsets. If your into the remix & extended versions this band pioneered into a marketing powerhouse- this is a must for your collection. The artwork too personifies what these guys have always been about. My own collection of music now exceeds 200 songs (amazing considering there are only 11 studio albums to date) Pluses found here...The carnival version of Rio, Chemical reaction mix of American Science & Jellybeans remix of Too Much Information. It's great in a way, it makes songs new all over again. Enjoy!"
This album has remixes not released on any other album

"Most of the time when a band or record company decides to release an album of remixes it will usually only contain songs that were released on earlier albums. This is not true with Strange Behaviour. Strange Behaviour contains remixed versions of Duran Duran songs that were not released on either of the singles collection box sets. These songs include Planet Earth (Night Mix), Hold Back The Rain (Remix), Rio (Carnival Version), New Religion (Carnival Version), American Science (Chemical Reaction Mix), I Don't Want Your Love (Dub Mix), Come Undone (Come Undub), Love Voodoo (Sidney Street 12" Mix), Too Much Information (12" Jellybean Remix), and None Of The Above (Drizaborne 12" Mix). However, New Moon On Monday (extended version) is the same as New Moon On Monday (Dance Mix). This album is a perfect companion to go along with the singles collection box sets and the Essential Night Versions for those into Duran Duran Remixes."
The reason for this Strange Behaviour

"The reason for this Strange Behaviour (from Skin Trade) is for us Duran Duran freaks who can't get enough! I just saw them live in concert and it was one of the best concerts ever...original band minus Andy Taylor. This album set features remixes of original work plus a lot of new material mixed in. If you like John jamming on the bass, Roger ripping it up on the drums, Nick mixing it up and Simon working the mike, then this is a must have. The first CD is awesome and the second CD finishes it off very nicely. If you are Hungry Like the Wolf for free-style remakes of some of their greatest songs, then savor this set. It is definitely worth it!"
