These songs come from and deal with feeling really low-down and misplaced. From feeling like you dont belong, but there isnt much you can do about it except to keep going, to keep searching for your place. You know theres something out there, but you just cant seem to put your finger on it. This recording comes from questioning things that are bigger than you, things you cannot control. It comes from dealing with loss, both real and imagined. Through all of this loneliness and heartbreak though, this record wants to make you feel better, make you feel that you do belong. It wants to make you feel good about feeling bad.
