CD Reviews

CLASSIC SOUL/CAROLINA BEACH MUSIC
R. Rushing | South Carolina | 10/29/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"For openers, let me tell you where I'm coming from. I live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Drifters (at least four or five different versions of them) still appear at the clubs here every summer. They, and many of their peers such as the Tams, are cultural icons. Still, let me assure you that, even if you care nothing about Beach Music, sixties culture, or soul music, this record is worth your time. It features great performances of great songs, and will leave you wanting more. A classic!"
