"The Best of Doctor Who Volume 2 brings the magic of Doctor Who to the music form. It features three superb serials from the longest running sci-fi series ever! From the circus music of the Greatest Show in the Galaxy to the haunting music of The Curse of Fenric, this is a must have CD for anyone! Buy this from Amazon and get a great deal on a great CD."
"Silva Screen release of BBC...Doctor Who scores of past"

"There is a passion, an almost "cult" following for this character of more than thirty years on the BBC...our hero presented himself in a fashion we've never known before, traveling throughout universe and time in the TARDIS...who else could it be...think a minute--- the illustrious DOCTOR WHO. Mark Ayres (our composer), does an outstanding job scoring three major stories, which I believe are a GREAT LISTEN ---take for instance this classic "THE GREATEST SHOW IN THE GALAXY", with over twenty-seven minutes of Robot attacks, Werewolf play, sacrifices and eavesdropping, events are in a mess - but never fear the good DOCTOR(Sylvester McCoy-the seventh Doctor) and Ace(Sophie Aldred) take on the bad guys and ancient Gods of Ragnarok, all is well---the next venture takes place in 1883 with "GHOST LIGHT", religion and theories of evolution transpire, but remember not to go down in the cellar---lastly, do you believe in curses, any curse would be terrible, but this one is doubly troublesome, we're faced with one of old "Viking Haemovores", could it be any worse, never fear our DOCTOR and Ace can handle the situation with ease, as long as the music holds out, and our favorite composer keeps on scoring ~ MARK AYRES.Total Time: 79:25 on 39 Tracks ~ Silva Screen Records SSD-1042 ~ (1994)"
