"I've had a few mp3 songs by Dr. Chunk for about a year now. I really really love the intensity of this band, and wonder why I've never heard them on mainstream radio.. are they SCARED of this band? DUH!



It is hard to explain this bands music. I've seen them referred to as "melodic thrash", but I cant agree with the melodic label, nor the thrash moniker. Fast, clean, furious, tight.. great BEATS pretty much sums it up for me. "Traitors View" is one of my all-time favorite 'never heard of this band' songs. "11" is outstanding....the vocal mixes and drums are fantastic.. (they drop the F-bomb now and again). Check out the 3 songs off the Dr. Chunk website for free.



Tonight, I figured I would buy the CD and see how good the rest of it is, and found it on Amazon for an ASTONISHING $18.99 USED.. or $39.00 NEW!! HUH? I thought this band was from the U.S.. so I Googled them (they are from San Diego). During my search, I also found out the entire CD is on eMusic.com"
