Doug Astrop is a composer and pianist/keyboardist whose music ranges from evocative instrumentals to pop songs featuring guest vocalists. His music has been featured in short films and a national commercial and resides near the intersection of the pop, adult contemporary and soundtrack genres. Influences include Bruce Hornsby, David Foster, Dave Grusin, Mike Post and Billy Joel to name just a few. HANOVER STREET is Doug Astrop's debut CD and contains 10 original songs including the hit ONCE IN A LIFETIME in both solo piano and full band versions. Doug enlisted guest vocalists to breathe life into his lyrics for EDGE OF THE SKY and AGELESS ANGEL. All other songs are instrumentals.
