"Hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Doormouse is either a complete raging lunatic or a genius. It's one of those things you just can't quite put your finger on and yet he taunts you with his signature static-induced fuzz pounding, repetitive and obnoxious. At some moments, he might as well come on over to your house and kick you in the privates repeatedly. There's a façade of chaotic noise, a beat will slide into the loop but slip back into the abyss just as easily, and your regular fan of MTV will throw the headphones away in disgust, quickly turn on the radio, and in only a matter of seconds there after scream "Oh me god! I love this song!!!" If you enjoy warm fuzzy pink blankets and cotton swabs, then maybe this music isn't for you. I'm not sure if it's the crazy beats or my pacemaker malfunctioning, but I know one thing for sure: Doormouse is like nothing I've ever heard before. Yeah, I've dabbled in the hardcore, but nothing matches Doormouse in terms of formulaic genius(or lack there of) and delivery. There comes a time in every single track where I pronounce it most excellent, not Bill & Ted style, but Darth Vader style, if you catch my drift. There exists an insane amount of beats in every song and there's always some order, dancing along like a white rabbit in a chaotic wonderland. Be prepared, the songs mean business, but the samples present such humor that you'll wet yourself just before slipping into your seizure. So I call out to all sufferers of A.D.D: Doormouse is your lovechild, and this album is your antidote. Enjoy.-TarTar"
