Powerful True Metal, Happy Posers Stay Away!!!
Petros "EpicMetal" Hadjianastasis | Dherynia, Famagusta Cyprus | 03/08/2003
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Domine is a great band, and of course NOT a typical power metal band, as a ... mentioned in his review for Amazon... Just to mention it, Domine exists since 1983, at a time when bands like Hammerfall, and other bands were just babies...
Anyway, Domine's music has nothing in common with bands like Hammerfall, or any other German-type power metal. Domine do not have happy melodies, but serious melodies out of the heart, they are inspired by bands like Warlord, Manowar, Queen, and many others, you can check my webpage for Domine if you'd like... A true classic from a sadly underappreciated band
king wolf | Jotunheim | 12/20/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Domine, an Italian heavy/symphonic power metal band with better than average fantasy lyrics, a different but very good and very dramatic singer, and some of the best darn vocal melodies and meaty guitar riffs you've never heard, sadly never got the attention they deserved.

This is your lucky day. Not only have you discovered one of the true hidden musical gems this world has to offer, you have found their best album. As good as their other albums are (and they are all far, far above the genre standard), their very best album, and a classic by any reasonable standard -- Dragonlord -- happens to be the one that is most widely available at a reasonable price.

There's not a skippable track on this one. Epic to the bone. If you can get a copy, jump all over it and play it until the plastic wears out."
