My little ones love it

"I have two Little Mermaid fans - ages 3 and 4 - and they love this CD. Four songs (I only recognized the two from the movie) and a just-the-right-length abridged version of the Disney story. The story is told by way of a combination of narrator and lines from the movie using the voices of the movie cast (I believe).

I gave 4 rather than 5 stars because, for some reason, neither the songs nor the movie lines are identical to the movie versions. My little ones don't seem to mind or even to notice, but the songs aren't quite as lush-sounding as the ones in the movie. Likewise, the movie lines in the story aren't exactly the movie lines. When you've seen the movie as many times as I have, it just sounds funny to hear little changes such as Ariel saying "But Daddy, I love Eric" rather than "But Daddy, I love him".

Overall, I'm very happy with this $4.99 CD and just ordered a few more from the Songs & Story line."
