CD Reviews

Brutal and Sick!!!!
Tom Servo | Satelite of Love | 03/09/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Ultra Gutteral Death/Grind from these behemoths of brutality!!! These guys are the musical equivalent of a jack hammer pounding on your skull. Yes that good!!!! Dominating deep voice in the foreground, a nearly all-time-blasting drumkit and tons of riffs in every song. Anti-Christiand and Gory lyrics are the subject matter, and consistent moshing and headbanging. The band is currently working on their Crash Music debut entitled "Parallels of Infinite Torture" which will be released in early 2005. I can't wait for that one!!! Extremely talented band here. Definately for fans of Dying Fetus and Suffocation. A must have for Death/Grindheads."

"A band that is quite talented and doesn't have any weak tracks...Disgorge. I remenber when i first heard "consume the forsaken" i thought to myself? Excellent, with originality and the best disturbing sound that any one into outer death/grind can ask for and expect nothing less then amazing work. Technical sound with such a great drummer and one mean vocalist, can't go wrong! Highly recommended!"
Relentless...

"This is the best Disgorge album yet by far. The music is unrelenting and constantly mutating at incredible speed. The drumming by Ricky Myers is fantastic and the new vocalist (replacing Matti Way now in Cinerary) is just as brutal and deep. Best part of the bands new lineup is their change in lyrics. Much like Immolation or Incantation, they attack Christianity and leave behind the typical lyrics of mutilating women and eating rotten flesh (not that I mind however ;) Now the reasons it didn't get 5 stars...first the cover art is so dark that it is real hard to even make out their logo (petty gripe I know...) Also, I wish the guitars were a little more articulate and clear, it tends to get muddy and Diego Sanchez and Ben Marlin have unreal speed. Overall it is a pretty amazing album as far as Death/Grind is concerned. Much better than Deeds of Flesh's "Mark of the Legion" I feel."
