Good Big Band...

"if not superlative! Several of the arrangements are by Billy Byers, several by Frank Mantooth and one by Neal Hefti. The soloists are very good and the vocalist is very capable but not exceptional. It's a very good overall big band effort by a well known Chicago area band. Several of the selections are in the Basie style of the sixties. This will appeal to anyone familiar with the musicians or big band in general."
