This is a terrific "crossover" for Itzhak Perlman.

"I have listened to this CD three times now, and each time I'm finding something new. The combination of jazz and violin really works, especially the way the Andre Previn designed his music for Perlman. Some of the sections really "swing." I was listening to this while an electrician was doing some work at the office, and he commented on what great music it was, too -- I rarely get that on most of the classical I listen to."
