"This is a fun album. Here we have Kirk "the Jerk" Springstone on guitar and singing in one of the most unique voices I've ever heard.Chuck "the Prez" Leftwing on bass."Cowboy" John Radical on tambourine,5 ft. galvanized pipe, kazoo, ect. And you gotta love that "Professor" McCormick actually beats on a tin trash can with a cymbal mounted on it (called the trash kit) through out the whole album,as at their live shows. The lyrics are funny and the songs are actually enjoyable on a musical level too.The style is a unique brand of rock and roll.Almost like punk rock with out the anger. These crazy cats from Louisiana began their mission to put Richard Nixon back in the white house in 1984,but broke up after he passed away in 1994.This 1992 release is their only album. It has some covers and parodeis, but it's mostly original.

"Real good backwoods Louisiana swamp-punk novelty in the same spirit as Mojo Nixon and Dash Rip Rock, with a sprinkling of Cajun flavor here and there. As far as I know this is the only thing they produced, a tongue-in-cheek "tribute" to Tricky Dick himself. probably 2/3 or 3/4 of the songs revolve around him thematically, mixed in with a cover or three and a few more conventional tunes. Its fun, its simple, it moves along, and its amusing as all Hell. Definitely worth a listen."
