CD Reviews

A Terrific Album
Philip Smith | 01/06/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I had no idea Diana Dors was a great song stylist. I thought this was going to be a camp item, but it turned out to be a very fine jazz album. Dors proves herself to be superb singer."
Botched Re-release
Matt Callaway | Indiana | 03/02/2008
(3 out of 5 stars)

"I was delighted to discover that this album had been re-released, and snapped it right up, despite the lack of adequate description, even though I own the original LP in Mint condition. I was interested in the additional cover poses by Miss Dors, and hoped that the original cover would be reproduced inside (it's not). If you're after this CD for the cover art, save your money. The manufacturers inexplicably put a big disc sticker on the cover to seal shut the "doors" despite the fact that the whole thing is shrink wrapped. It is impossible to remove the sticker without damaging the cover. The CD and sound quality are fine, so it IS a good (if overpriced) way to hear the complete album."
Wow! Undiscovered Gem
Brian Haselden | Columbus, Indiana United States | 12/23/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This has quickly become my wife's favorite CD. Too bad they didn't use the original cover, though."
