"This has to be the best new R&B album released in the last 2 or 3 years for the fact that so much was put into it. This man is multi-talented and shows all his talents on each song. All tracks, lyrics, and singing were done by Devante. I can honstly say there has not been a CD this perfect released in years. This is what all new R&B artist trying to come up in the game should listen and look up to, since this is what has a meaning to it, and has a purpose of being released. After hearing this cd for a few times I was already hoping for his second album to hear more from this talented man. If you are a huge fan of R&B music that has a meaning, soul, and realness in it, this is the cd for you.MC"

"Well in all honesty I automatically thought this was a cd by Devante' from Jodeci. Love Jodeci till this very day. The fact that there is no picture prompted me to go ahead and purchase it also knowing I hadn't heard of Jodeci's Devante' dropping any new solo music.. Listening to the album samples I heard this Devante' sounds pretty much like the Devante' from Jodeci singing and very much so talking. I say all this to say despite my reason for buying this cd I can say it wasn't a total disapointment. Not for nothing but very coincidental that when I recieved the cd(and finally got to see the cover)this Devante' does favor Jodeci's Devante'slightly. Funny right. Overall the cd is a pretty good effort on his part. I think theres room for him in the music business. This cd is very mellow. One thing I appreciated about him is that he has good lyrics. Not just the same ol' wimpering wanna be Boyz2Men i love you more than life itself lyrics. I like Boyz2Men by the way no disrespect to them at all. I'll be looking for him in the future. But for all my fellow Jodeci fans I to am waiting for that Jodeci album. ONE................."

His name is Devanté. With more talent than you can shake a mic at, this young, multi-talented newcomer promises to deliver with his debut album `Ready or Not.' With 15 tracks of uncontrived musicianship, memorable hooks, beautifully arranged melodies and thought provoking lyrical content, this album is destined to be a true gem. As a singer, his voice blends harmoniously and effortlessly over his mellifluous music, seamlessly blending together as one. He's also got the inveterate look of a heartthrob.
