"A haunting voice carrying emotions from the dawn of times, accompanied by intensely authentic keltic melodies, and sometimes laced with modern rhythmic sections. Prigent is the real thing. At using the new at the service of the traditionnal, he succeds where most everyone else has failed. I am an avid collector of Keltic music and not usually impressed with fusion of styles, but this is unique. Prigent and Nunez (check him out too) are re-energizing keltic music with fresh ideas. If you liked even a little bit the Afro-Celt Sound System, you will be blown away by Prigent. As I write this, I am listening to a track where he overlaid a rap rhythmic section over his song. I HATE rap, and yet this works. It doesn't sound cheap or poppy. It is simply intoxicating."
