CD Reviews

Best album ever!!!!!!!

"I own every single song that Demon Hunter has ever writen and there is only one song I do not like but this is by far their best album. One of the main things I love about DH is that they make ABSOLUTLEY no filler songs. Unlike 3DG who makes 3-5 good songs and the rest is just so so these song range from pretty good to awesome. And unlike Underoath they never get boring. They have no songs over 5 minutes and everysingle second of those songs is heart-pounding metal. Every single song had a lot of thought behind it unlike so many heavy metal bands that just make alot of noise these guys make alot of thought provoking noise.

If you just want one song get Less Than Nothing, best one on the CD"
DH rocks hard

""Summer of Darkness" was the first Demon Hunter album I purchased, and I did it without having heard one song from it. Several people reccomended it to me, so I bought it. I was not a fan of hard rock/metal, and when I first opened up the CD, I had to wonder what in the world I bought.

I haven't looked back since.

This album is amazing! "My Heartstrings Come Undone" and "I Play Dead" hooked me from the first listen, and while I had to adjust my ears and taste to the rest...I came to love this album very quickly. The only song I can honestly say I haven't grown fond of is "Beheaded". The guest singer's vocals still creep me out...LOL.

"Beauty Through the Eyes of a Predator" to me is the most powerful of the album.

Christian and Non-Christian alike can enjoy some good hard rocking music, since the lyrics aren't preachy or overtly Christian...actually, they are a bit morbid. I have all four of DH's albums, and they are one of my favorite bands.

Worth it! DH is awesome!"
