Delicious Blues Stew is a Bluesiana party band covering bayou blues styles such as Baton Rouge and New Orleans Blues, Zydeco, Cajun, 2nd Line and Mardi Gras music. Eclectic, with quality original material, the Stew won the last "Best Unsigned Blues Band in Nashville" contest. The band went to the international contest sponsored by the Blues Foundation, where they made the finals, and where only one band came out ahead... The Stew founded the highly successful Mardi Gras celebration at Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar in Nashville (winner of the World's Best Blues Club 2000 award), and is now playing 18 or more Mardi Gras dates per year at the club, making The Stew the band that plays more than any visiting (non-house band) act. Delicious Blues Stew features a catalogue of over 300 songs, ranging from high-spirited originals to time-honored classics in blues, rock n roll, country and jazz.
