What a sound!

"While this cd is a little more on the outside than I tend to like, Delfeayo Marsalis blows me away every time with that amazing tone. It's the most solid sound out there, and he has a range that just doesn't quit. He plays with lightning speed that is awe inspiring. His solo work is amazing, sticking enough to the melody to be recognizable, and he does great things with the melodies, particularily "Summertime." His own tunes are interesting and different, but show off the versatility of the horn and especially the player. I can't wait for more Delfeayo...with that amazing tone and technical skill, he definitely lives up to the Marsalis name!!"
