"This is a great CD and a real super way to hear a lot of Hot Rod music at once. The list of talent that played on these records is amazing! Glen Campbell, David Gates, Hal Blaine, Leon Russell,Tommy Tedesco, it goes on and on! If your into Hot Rods and Surf/Calif. sound music and miss it, heres a great big dose. Obviously I had my favorites, and not every song was a knockout, but I thoroughly enjoy these 3 albums. And they grow on me more and more every time I hear them. This is capturing a moment in time who's time is come as the interest in Hot Rod's and hopefully Hot Rod music is more poular than ever today. Give a listen, and Rev up your engines!!"

"The three groups in this collection (De-Fenders, Darts, and Deuce Coupes) are all studio groups and not actually real groups. This music has a lot of adrenaline in the majority of tracks and smoothness in others with really good surf licks! Sounds so much better than most anything on commercial radio listening. Exciting, lively, and propulsive! Listen to it and see!"
