CD Reviews

Deick's the Sheik!

"Deick Mitchell's voice touches my heart! His voice has a clarity and uniqueness that I haven't heard much in the country music world. The mix of music he chooses for this CD allows the listener to experience a range of emotion but ultimately it is music that makes me happy; makes me want to dance! "Dear Someone" is my alltime favorite; A song full of dream and hope. "Friends Behind Bars" immediately sends you to the dance floor! The final twinkling of glasses and the soulful laugh Deick shares at the end makes me feel a personal friend. There's not a tune on this CD I fast forward through and most of the time, I just play the whole thing over! The music is well mixed; Deick's guitar playing ability rocks my socks! I'd buy this CD in a heartbeat...or, for a heartbeat, if you don't have a strong one! ENJOY!!!"
An incredible musician and a better person

"I don't think I ever got the chance to tell you, but you made a truly great record. It's comforting to be able to pop in your CD when I need to and remember all the fun you always brought with you. One of my favortie memories of you is the Christmas that I got my first guitar and you taught me a few licks that I haven't forgotten to the day. Not that I can play much more now! You also showed me what it means to have your being and your life affected by music. Thats something I owe to you, and something of which I will always be grateful. We're all missing you so much. Love ya."
