CD Reviews

FAST AND SWEET
devil-boy | CANADA | 05/02/2000
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This trio make an ungodly racket. This album is a really good workout in agressiveness and brutality. Fast guitar playing and even faster drumming added with venomous vokills and that is what this sounds like. Also there are no guitar solos on this album. The only referance point on their sound MAY be a garage version of THE HAUNTED. Good album overall, a band with a great future."
Straight to the point

(4 out of 5 stars)

"This was made for those who feel that songs by The Haunted and The Crown are just too long. There's not a single track here over 3 minutes in length. The only thing that keeps me from rating it five stars is the total lack of any lead breaks. But honestly, you don't miss 'em a bit."
No messing around here

"icetitan made it pretty clear what this album is all about. You get song after song of really (...) fast death thrash with less melody then Darkane, The Haunted or The Crown. The production isn't bad but it does sound pretty raw however in this case I can't whine about it because it goes along the music without problem. There are no solos anywhere on this album, no clean vocals, no song intros to speak of, no ballads, no slow parts at all. Defleshed play and never falter from the formula of blisteringly fast ultraviolent death thrash and if your like me, you'll (...) love it"
