The Complete 2006 Montreux Concert
Patrick Thomas | Grass Valley,Ca USA | 08/31/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Deep Purple is simply great in this full concert verison of Montreux 2006.Unlike the 12 track U.S. verison which does'nt have the 5 tracks that's on this one-"The Well Dressed Guitar"(The Live verison is outstanding as Steve Morse does his solo thing),"Perfect Strangers"(Which is odd not on the DVD verison of the concert),"Hush"(The band having fun with Producer Micheal Bradford jammimg with Steve Morse)"Too Much Fun"(The Band having fun with their longtime friend Claude Nobs),and "Black Night"(More goodtime fun with the band). This Japanese Verison of "Live at Montreux 2006" is well worth it espically with the 5 extra tracks.Hearing the entire concert is really cool(Even with new songs from their outstanding cd "Rapture of the Deep") as well the popular favorites like "Smoke on the Water".Highly Reccommedded."
