CD Reviews

Romberg The Magnificent
John D. Shepard | Fairfax, VA | 01/03/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"If you don't appreciate Sigmund Romberg, you have no soul.

I wish the CD would have included his "Shadows on the Moon" (from "The Girl of the Golden West")sung by the devine, Perfect Ingenue, Jeanette Mac Donald. That musical oater was based on a Puccini Opera & play and included brilliant performances by Nelson Eddy who was trim and in excellent voice."

"We watch a lot of movies from the Classics, so when we watched one about Sigmund Romberg, we loved the music so much that I went right to Amazon.com and found the music plus the recording stars we like so well. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a romantic heart."
