Synopsis

Product Description
From the despair of a lost love, Deep Ella was formed in the late 90's with hope that the painful emotions from that loss could be expressed in a less destructive way. Alcohol, Drugs, and Depression seemed to be the latest craze, and with all in tow, music seemed to be the answer. Founded by Jeff Crowder, Deep Ella started as an acoustic act aspiring to inspire people with meaningful lyrics, and clever melodies. After a few years of searching for the right arrangement Deep Ella finally became a band instead of a solo act, and in 2002 released the album "Last Year's New Thing". Local success, consistent shows, some line-up changes, and a few EP's occupied the band for the next few years until in early 2005 on the verge of breaking up, Deep Ella made some drastic changes to the bands line-up. With a revitalized sound, a little ambition and a handful of songs in 2006 Deep Ella entered the studio to record their second full-length album "Empty Seas and Memories". Released in April 07, Deep Ella filled the local venue Warehouse Live and has been promoting ever since. Comprised of Jeff Crowder, Fonz Lovelance, Joey Sepeda, Eric Rodriguez and Jason Light Deep Ella's latest work is infused with an honesty and sincerity rare in the modern world of progressive rock, the five have embraced a sound characterized by eloquent lyrics, aggressive guitar and eclectic rhythms. The new material takes Deep Ella musically to a place they have never gone before while maintaining the seductiveness of their earlier work. Deep Ella is currently in the studio working on their next album "You me and The Spider", and just finished a small Tour with National acts Blue October and Hoobastank.
