Not You, Not Nobody Can Keep Snider Down!!!

"That just seems to be the way to say it, bad grammar and all. Dee Snider has compiled a beautiful cd, here. It's got all the NY back-alley, in-your-face, kicking-your-jewels songs like the first three songs that rock the listener into submission: "Hard Core" (it is); "Call My Name" (tough tune in the Snider indicative voice!), and "Our Voice Will Be Heard" (by that point, all you can say is, "Wow, gimme a brew & a cigarette"). "Isn't It Time" and "Cry You a Rainbow" are true Snider-themed ballads in the vein of "Suzette's Song" but with a much sleeker, up-to-date sound. My personal favorite: the NY hip-swingin', look-at-that-gal swagger found in "Sometimes You Win" (quite a lesson there!). "Ride Through The Storm" starts with the inverted, philosophical tone of "King of the Fools" but slides up into an up-beat rocker. This cd is a sure-bet for Twisted Sister fans who have been trying to recapture what might have been after their split-up and/or the fans who have followed Dee's gutsy live-or-die rock & roll attitude that's kept him in the game all these years. Nobody beats Dee. Buy this cd!"

"If you want a piece of two albums by Twisted Sister this is the one to get. This CD full of new material makes me raise my fist. It reminds me of where come out and play and stay hungry left off. This should have been the album that was released instead of love is for suckers. Although love is for suckers is a great album, this one should have been the next release. I listen to this periodically, as well as on my Ipod. I recommend you getting this one for yourself."
