As part of the label's 2018 Debussy series, pianist Roger Muraro makes his harmonia mundi debut with a recording of Debussy's Études, which the composer dedicated ''to the memory of Frédéric Chopin''. The disc also features Olivier Messiaen's Fauvettes de l'Hérault (Warblers of the Hérault), a work for solo piano assembled by Muraro from sketches for a planned concerto in honor of Debussy. This is the work's first recording.
