Album Description

In My Dreams is Debi's debut solo album, produced by Debi, Al Petteway, and John Jennings (Grammy winning producer for Mary Chapin Carpenter). The title cut is one of her most popular bodhran (Irish drum) songs. Other favorites are "Quiet Man", a song Debi penned about her Nebraskan father, "Canary's Song" (Buddy Mondlock/Garth Brooks) and Pampa, Texas (Debi). The album features stellar instrumentals by Al Petteway, Mike Auldridge, and John Jennings, among others.

"Debi Smith brought the finest voice to the Four Bitchin' Babes and this is her best solo effort. I get chills every time I hear "Quiet Man", about lessons she learned from her father. In "To the Angel in My Arms", she sings about the hopes of a new mother for her son. In songs like "One Horse Town" and "Pampa, Texas", she paints vivid pictures with words. Debi Smith has a very strong, beautiful voice with an extremely wide range. Put this one on your wish list to bring it back in stock. You're missing out on something special here."
