Combine clever, imaginative lyrics, fast paced punk rock, and a bit of 1950's rock n' roll thrown in, and you only get a small idea of what these guys sound like. This disc has been spinning non-stop in my CD player since I got it 4 days ago. Face to Face fans should take note that Buying the Lie was produced by Trever Keith and sounds spectactular. It is hard to imagine an album getting much better than this." An awesome cd, but watch them live SamuraiSuave | 02/11/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "I have had the honor of seeing Death on Wednesday on numerous occasions, the first being with Social D in Hollywood, also them open for Goldfinger at the Glasshouse, them open for Sensefield at Chain Reaction, and them also headline at Chain Reaction, and I have to say that they are an awesome band. Like a previous reviewer stated, the cd does not do them justice (they are much faster and more emotional live). My only complaint with this cd, and it is a very small one, is that their music strayed a little to how they sounded as the Redliners with "The Doubletime EP". If you can find that album, get it along with this one, you wont be dissappointed."
