The mood is quiet and dreamy as Martin woos us with the kind of full-throated whisper that was his calling card. Although the accompaniment ranges from small jazz combo to large orchestra with strings, the settings are tasteful and understated throughout, even on the lesser-known toned-down version of "Everybody Loves Somebody."
