Deadline seem a third hardcore, a third oi and a third straight ahead punk. On second listen their is a lot more complexity to the music and lyrics. Rather than being a poor imitation of everything that's been done, Deadline offer something more memorable than the monkey see monkey do generation of modern punk rock. I will admit song 6) runaway is a dud on this cd, but so was the third mad max movie, perfection is a rarity."
