CD Reviews

VERY GOOD BUY

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Honestly, the first De La album I bought was 2000's "MOSIAC THUMP", because the Beastie Boys were on it. It was good. I bought the second album "DE LA SOUL IS DEAD". It was good too. Then I bought my (second) favorite Hip-Hop album of all time, De la Soul's third album: "BUHLOONE MINDSTATE". Brilliant. 7 months later, this reissue of their first album came out. I decided to invest in it. CLASSIC. The extra CD more than makes up for the cost. Highlights: Tread Water, Plug Tunin', and Buddy (featuring Jungle Brothers and Q-Tip). If you like A TRIBE CALLED QUEST's "LOW END THEORY" I HIGHLY suggest buying this album, especially this reissue, with the bonus disc."
