"So, De La Soul & Chaka Khan together. Not a bad pairin' if you ask me. And what do I think of the song? Well, I quite enjoy it. Here are the reasons why I enjoy each track.1) Original Mix - 5:02 - I'm not a huge fan of rap music, but this is some fine stuff here. You've got some funky R&B beats, with rhymes that aren't as negative as some artists out there, and you've got Chaka's great vocals helping the track along!2) Royal G Remix - 3:41 - I'm kinda upset that this one is so short! Easily the best remix on the disc because of the fact that it keeps all of the vocals intact, but still bumps the track up a notch in the funk department. It's got some great stringwork at the beginning (and throughout) and also has a harder, more thumpin' bassline than the original mix.3) MJ Cole Remix - 5:11 - MJ Cole (who has remixed for E-Smoove, State Of Mind & Dub 4 Klubz) gives us his usual garage remix here. Although I do enjoy this one more than I do most garage tunes. Why? Well, because it's not as choppy as some garage songs and it doesn't play with the vocals as much. It also has some very funky disco guitar licks through the song...4) Ugo & Sanz "Chaka's Affair" Mix - 7:25 - There's a reason that this one is called "Chaka's Affair" mix. Only Chaka's in it. There are a few sound bites from the boys, but not the full vocal. But, it is a nice house mix nonetheless. A great track for early evening or very late night. And like the MJ Cole mix, it has some great disco guitar licks, and it does tend to delve into the garage territory at times.5) Razor N Guido's Duhb Mix - 8:31 - Razor N Guido (remixes for Kylie Minogue, Karmadelic and Club 69 to name a few) give us a harder mix with very minimal vocals, that is slightly reminiscent of their "Orange E Ugly Duhbling" mix of Karmadelic's "Check It Out". This mix consists mainly of Chaka's chants of "Ain't all good" amidst tons of sirens and furious beats. Although the track never hits a peak level, it is still a solid mix.Certainly a single that deserves to be in your player right now."
