Melodic HC, that is very reminiscent of Quicksand

"Dayinthelife's music is what I would consider to be melodic hardcore. There isn't very many bands like this around. This disc would probably appeal to fans of Ignite and would most definitely appeal to Quicksand fans as this band sounds very much like them. The lyrics tend to be a bit different than most other bands out there. They're very good though and well thought out for a band playing this style of music, which tends to be more straight forward most of the time. The vocals are melodic and sung very well. There is basically no screaming on this cd, but it fits the style that they play nicely. The production is also excellent. The overall playing in the band isn't the most technical but it is very catchy and appealing to the ears. Some of my personal favorite tracks on this cd are "Chamaleon", "Rise", and "Open Wide". I think this band had a great future ahead of them. Too bad their existence had to end prematurely."
