Easily one of the better pop-punk bands out there

"These days, drive thru records is becoming more and more like the labels i've always hated. They've stopped signing what they're known for (pop-punk), and bands like I am the avalanche and The early november are bringing them closer and closer into chapter 11. BUT, rich and steph aren't as dumb as their recent actions may indicate. hence the label Rushmore Records.
The first rushmore release came in the form of an 11 track, synth pop-punk record called "a collection of short stories". The band behind that record (houston calls) was talented enough (i like em'), but their music lacked that dynamic punch of past DTR alum. Then came A Day At The Fair.
At first listen, you're reminded of The starting line's "say it like you mean it". I mean, the lead singer sounds EXACTLY like kenny (you know it's true). But if you dig deeper, you'll find that ADATF is a bit more cynical with their lyrics. Songs like "lost and the lucky" are downright depressing, but they're served over punky guitars and irresistable pop melodies.
This is, hands down, the best rushmore release to date. If you've been waiting for something to match that feeling you got while listening to "say it like you mean it" or "sticks and stones", you've GOTTA get this cd. ADATF kicks so much ass."
