37th Floor at Sunset, Music for Monophrenetic is not the type of music that you just sit down and listen to. That is of course unless you're really into watching the subtleness of minute movements, done something to expand your attention span to mammoth proportions or just really love good electronic ambiance. David Toop has created some really nice material that can easily slip into your background conscious. I found it great to program to, nice to read with and spectacular to stargaze/traffic/people watch with. After letting it loop for several disc plays 37th floor also proves that it would worked quite well for its original intended purpose. It was the music created for an artistic multimedia installation named Mondophrenetic (tm). Very urban in feel. It's as if these are the subconscious backing tracks to life in an apartment buildings that's so big it has a shopping mall underneath them. Find something to occupy 80% of your mind and let Toop take over that last few acres. -Kae (DA writer)"
