After hearing the songs of New Orleans songwriter, Mike West, Stephens was inspired to pick up the 5-string banjo and write songs about life around him. Rooted in folk and bluegrass, this album has pleased listeners with a variety of musical tastes. Stephens was joined on this ablum by West and Stewart and Lesley Carr of the British delta-blues band, the Hot Tamales.
