Wonderful artist. None like him. If you know his work with the Gaither Vocal Band, this is a must have. David rocks.

Varied and Enjoyable

(5 out of 5 stars)

"David's latest solo album is so varied it's hard to know what category to put it in. But no matter how you describe it, it's thoroughly enjoyable.

The disc opens with three adult contemporary tracks. The first is a fun praise song, and the second is a dedication of the heart to God. They're fun, but mostly forgettable.

It's track four where things really start to pick up. "Just as I Am" is not the old hymn although it does cover the same territory. Co-written with Cindy Morgan, it's got a haunting minor key melody.

"Revelation" sounds like it would fit in any rock opera being written today. You have to pay attention to this take on end times to fully appreciate it.

"Virtuoso" is another praise song, from the singer to the Creator. It's a wonderful track with a catchy tune that gives David the chance to show of his very impressive voice. And don't be fooled by the word "Reprise." The last track is a slower more thoughtful version of this song, but it's all there a second time.

"Perdoname Dios" has, unsurprisingly, a Latin flavor. It's a prayer from the valley asking God why.

The disc ends with the ballad "Live Like a King." David gets another chance to really show of his vocals here as he sings of his desire to live the way Jesus did.

Even with the variety of styles, this will appeal mostly to fans of adult contemporary. Anyone who picks it up will be in for a real treat."
Wow!!!!

"David's voice blows me away! Im shocked that his name isnt all over the music world like Josh Groban's and Michael Crawford's. What impresses me is how he can reproduce his phenomenal vocals in live situations such as the concerts I have seen him in. Its just like the CD - only better. Folks, this man is the real deal...incredible talent and vocal training with laser-guided pitch and swiss-watch dynamic precision. He blows me away!"
