Great overall CD

"Listen, folks, I don't know of too many "best of" CDs out there that contain absolutely every single hit or fan favorite ever made by an artist unless you are buying their compete anthology for lots of $$ and usually long after their glory days. Bottom line is this album has MOST of David's best loved music. Yes the song "No More Night" is missing but, hey, these days that is a simple download for $0.99, right?

Another song missing is "He's Alive", arguably one of the best songs ever written and a song that shows his incredible range and yet it is not here. In fact I have been unable to find this song for download anywhere, just a pretty good live version video on the internet.

As for this CD, "The Best of David Phelps", it does include many favorites from previous albums and would be a good choice for someone looking for their first David Phelps album.

Another sampling of favorites is his live CD/DVD combo "Legacy of Love" (2006). It shows that he is equally talented and amazing live. The DVD also shows his more personal side as he interacts with the audience.

"I have taken the time to read all the reviews about this cd and I myself wished he had all my favorite songs on it. But, let's face the fact that this gentleman is quite a gifted and talented singer of His faith and what a delivery he gives in each song he does. These are They is my most ultimate favorite song he does with the gaither vocal band on their austrialian dvd. buy it and you will see how great they all sound together and the delivery he brings home at the end of that song. This cd desereves even more than 5 stars, in my opinion."
