Considering that the band's previous six albums have only sold 80 thousand copies combined, it's unlikely this one sell the half mil needed for an official gold disc, but it's the best possible introduction to this politically incorrect punkabilly trio from New Orleans. Gold Record includes five of the band's favorite cuts from their previous albums as well as 11 new recordings, mostly of songs that have been staples of their live show for years. One of the new songs is country rock dream of being locked in a "Liquor Store" with a beautiful woman.
