Moanin' Time, the new release by Miami's Darrell Raines, features a broad range of Blues styles which were manifested from Raines' various musical influences. The opening Mississippi Delta influenced title track tells the tale of musicians that crossed over the bridge to Arkansas to 'play the blues all night long'. Raines prescribes a mood change with the electric Chicago feel of Love Doctor and the autobiographical Drug Hole about growing up on the mean streets of Miami. Raines was nominated for the prestigious Albert King Award at The International Blues Challenge in 2006.
