Good hardcore music

"Darkest Hour is one of my favorite metalcore bands. I picked this up because I have always wanted to hear their early stuff. I was surprised but not really disappointed. Just a fair warning, this is NOT the darkest hour you may be used to. It sounds more like hardcore music than it does metalcore. If you dont really like hardcore, then you may want to stay away from this CD. Also, even though it was re-mastered, it still is lacking in sound quality. If you can get past these two points, then give it a try. The most of the songs are great , the alternative mixes just seem like filler to me though because I cant hear much of a difference between them and the original mixes.If you are a fan of darkest hour, pick this up just so you can see how far they have progressed musically. If you are not a fan but want to give them a chance, i would say listen to Undoing Ruin or The Sadist Nation first, then come back to this."
