"Harmonia mundi has put its best foot forward with this CD. Jon Nakamatsu epitomizes elegance and class with room to spare. Never pushing his piano to the limit, never stepping in front of the music, he brings the listener into direct contact with Liszt's exquisite works of art. The fireworks are fiery, and the musicality matchless.

As the owner of a classical music label, I have learned to listen on many levels and I must give engineer, Brad Michel my compliments. He really found a beautiful balance between piano and room with this CD. A+ for both performance and recording!"
