CD Reviews

Beautiful, In Spirit and in Song

"Danniebelle is my all time favorite singer!!
I remember seeing her in my early teens while she toured with Andrae Crouch and the Disciples, she performed "Oh Savior" (later to be recorded on the phenominal TAKE ME BACK album) she blew me away and continues to do so!
What joy it was to hear her on her solo projects, where she took every opportunity to express her love the the Lord, as well as with Andrae Crouch. I could not get enough of her! I remember visiting the record store at least monthly to see if she put out anything new. I would by any album she was on!
Live in Sweden still has the same effect on me as it did when I first listened to it, wish I was there!
Whenever I hear Let me have a Dream, I close my eyes and just feel it go through me.
She has done much more than these two and my all time favorite Danniebelle album has to be This Moment.
This set, however, is a must buy!
Also pick up Andrae' Crouch "Take Me Back", you'll see what I'm talking about."
A Masterful Music Minister

"Danniebelle Hall. All who remember her and her great ministry in song can attest to her talent and anointing. I was a student at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in the 1970's when I first heard her music. Life Begins With Jesus was the first song to capture my attention. I became an instant Danniebelle fan. I bought her second project This Moment without hearing it first. I believed that because it was Danniebelle's it would be wonderful. It was! What Kind Of Love Is This, Perfect Submission, and the title cut This Moment mesmerized me. I tried to buy every thing with her name on it after that. I still perform some of those songs in concerts.

When Danniebelle walked on stage and took her seat at the piano, you were in for a treat. She could take the simplest concept and create a masterful selection. Turn It Over To Jesus, Because I'm Me, and Ordinary People are such examples along with my personal favorite on this project I'll Be Right There. Another gem not found on this CD that she gave me permission to record is Mary Had A Little Lamb

As a young music student, I was amazed by her voice, lyrics, and sincerity. Over the years, I was blessed to be in her presence many times. We talked about our faith and music and shared our songs. She told me that she wanted to work with me on lead vocals. I wish she had had more time...

Treat yourself to this Danniebelle CD. You will not regret it. If you are looking for songs that speak from the heart of the composer to the Lord, capturing the listener along the way, then this is the music for you.

Inspired and Inspiring

"I bought "Live in Sweden" in the 70's on cassette and have treasured it. Now on CD, her piano, personality, and voice communicates an intensity and commitment that gives the impression that you are present for a live performance. My all-time-favorite is Day by Day, sung alternately in Swedish and English with a special encore. There is no doubt that this extremely talented performer has an intimate gift of music communication. Two CD's at the price of less than one is a unbelievable!"
