Tuning Spork presents a second vital installment of their Mindin Business compilation series, this time curated by Metamorphic Recordings label-head, Dan Curtin. After leaving Cleveland, Ohio, Curtin became a techno/house classic in Berlin. With his profile on the rise, he eventually caught the attention of Peacefrog. His releases under his own name and his Purveyors Of Fine Funk guises were welcomed with open arms by the world's techno fraternity, and many of his tracks have since become key cuts in many a DJ's set. He has since released on labels such as Klang Elektronik, Headspace Recordings, Pnuma, District of Corruption, and many more, defining himself as one of the key players in the development of techno as we know it today. Mindin Business Part 2 is the forceful sound of fun house music. Featuring Lee Van Dowski with a solo mix of his meaty track co-penned with Quenum, an unreleased mix from DJ 3000, a Guido Schneider remix of Tom Clark, a new one from Fuckpony and a taste of up-and-comer Shyza Minelli with a track off the A Night Out with the Boys 12", this mix blends a sampling of exclusive tracks plus tracks you may not have dug out of the new releases crate yet. Play this in your car with the windows down, while driving by your office angrily on weekends.
